Technology at Fostree evolves with the child, matching the tool to the stage of learning rather than the other way around.
In Grades 1–5, students work with Apple iPads, chosen for how naturally they support young hands and young curiosity. The interface stays intuitive, so attention goes to the idea being explored, not the device delivering it. Creativity, exploration, and expression stay central, guided by teachers who know when to step in and when to let a child find their own way through a problem.
From Grade 6, students transition to personal laptops or tabs, built for research that runs deeper, work that runs longer, and collaboration that starts to look like the real thing. The tools ask more of them, and they're ready to give it.
The shift is intentional: from guided exploration to independent capability. Nothing about how a ten-year-old and a sixteen-year-old learn is the same, so nothing about the technology they use should be either.
